Full Text The complete electronic text of an article is called the full text. Typically article databases, like Infotrac's Expanded Academic ASAP, provide entire articles online for some of its records. What if there are pictures or graphs with the article that you want to see? |

To find pictures originally published with the article, you usually need to perform a journal title search in TOPCAT to see which SWITCH library owns the journal. Then retrieve the journal from the shelves in order to make a photocopy of the article. Some databases provide full content using a special type of file. For example, a PDF (portable document format) is a file type that can feature the full text of an article as well as any graphs, charts and pictures included.
