IV. New business

A. Review new introductory material
Members discussed the charge for the committee to develop a new introduction for the guidelines. It was decided that the committee should look at using language that is more broadly understood outside the profession. The group will take Gover's paper (copies distributed at the meeting) home to review. Frederiksen will convene a virtual meeting to discuss the proposed changes to the introduction. Gover will take suggestions and draft a new introduction that will be reviewed at ALA Annual.

B. Next guidelines revision
The guidelines are not due for a major revision at this time. The committee will discuss again at ALA Annual.

C. Web form for reporting dissemination activities
Frederiksen will look into the feasibility of linking a web-based form from the ACRL and DLS websites. She will ask the Web Committee about putting together a submission form for people wanting to submit cites for inclusion in the dissemination report. The committee discussed a variety of ways to better market the dissemination report so it gets more use. It was also suggested that the committee solicit cites from people other than librarians. Cardinal volunteered to investigate other, non-librarian listservs that might be interested in the dissemination report.
