Going Beyond Google
Unlike high school-level research, college assignments will require that you
use sources OTHER than the web!!
You cannot rely solely on Google. Here's why:
- Many
web sites are biased due to self-publication or because they want to sell
you something
- Because
of COPYRIGHT, many articles published in scholarly journals are not available
through Google or Google Scholar
- College
instructors will require you to make use of non-Web sources and articles from
library databases
