The web can be a good source for:
- quick facts
- very current news, sports, weather, stock quotes
- well-known events and individuals
- information on companies, organizations and governments
- information on colleges, museums, and public entities
- popular opinions on a topic
While the web offers a lot, it is usually NOT
the best place to BEGIN academic research.
