Find it on the Shelf

While you need to go to the Reserves desk to pick up reserve items, you can retrieve most library items yourself by using information from the TOPCAT record.

LOCATION:
includes which SWITCH libraries have the item.

CALL NUMBER:
acts as the 'address' of a library item. Consult a library map or ask a reference librarian for help finding a call number on the shelves.

STATUS:
tells you whether the item is checked out, lost, 'library use only,' or when it's due back.
